Melbourne Food and Wine Festival - New Kids on the Block

Venues: Longsong, Bar Saracen, Annam

There’s been a changing of the guard in the Punch Lane precinct of Melbourne’s CBD. Swapping Hobart for heritage-listed horse stables, chef David Moyle wows at Longsong with his wood-fired snacks and skewers. Old-school hospitality prevails at Bar Saracen, described by chef and owner Joseph Abboud as a restaurant “of Middle Eastern appearance”. Meanwhile, over at Annam chef Jerry Mai draws on her family’s Vietnamese and Cambodian roots to deliver hawker-style menus in slick surrounds.

This event is part of our cult classic Crawl ‘n’ Bite series. We take you to three handpicked restaurants or bars in one night to show off the best of Melbourne’s vibrant dining scene. You’ll enjoy a bite and matched drink in each before being guided to the next.

Simply choose your session (6:00pm-8:00pm or 8:30pm-10:30pm) and your starting venue below. The order or your crawl will vary depending on where you choose to start, as outlined below.
